The API is complete in RoboHelp X3. Previous versions of RoboHelp had the WebHelp API implemented, but it was not fully integrated into the RoboHelp User Interface. In the new version, Map IDs (Map Numbers and Topic IDs) can be assigned to topics either from Topic Properties, or in the Context Sensitive Help folder in the Project Manager.
Below is an example of the Edit Map IDs dialog box where map numbers and topic IDs are connected to HTML files found in the help system.
