The Printed documentation feature has many new features and improvements over previous versions of RoboHelp. Below are some of the more significant new features:
Ability to create, save, and reuse custom layouts from the Single Source Layouts folder.
Easier control when customizing the content through the table of contents.
Ability to map the CSS styles to the DOT styles directly, and also to share style maps with other help authors.
Ability to add headers on all topics. Headers can be added to all pages based on the Table of Contents book structure.
Ability to use conditional build tags to filter out content directly from the printed documentation.
The image below displays how style sheets can be mapped to Word templates when generating printed documentation.
