Those of you translating a help file to another language, or wanting to compare an older help file to a newer help file, will be interested in knowing more about the Compare macro for WinHelp.
The Compare macro displays a Help file in a second instance of WinHelp. The current Help file and the second Help file are displayed side-by-side. Most actions performed in one Help file (for example, clicking jumps or the Back and Browse Buttons) are automatically reflected in the other file.
Let's say you are translating a help project from English to another language and you want to compare the translated version of your Help file to the English version of your Help file -- the Compare macro allows you to do this. In addition, the Compare macro is enhanced greatly by activating two additional features in RoboHELP Classic:
