Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets in WinHelp?

Microsoft Excel Worksheet objects can perform calculations in your topics.

Simply create a new topic and choose Insert: Object: Microsoft Excel Worksheet. This opens a spreadsheet which has been formatted using the color-rich AutoFormat feature in Microsoft Excel. To adjust the open cells on the bottom and right, double click the object and adjust the sizing handles

.

Users do not need Microsoft Excel to display the spreadsheet, however you must have Microsoft Excel to create a worksheet object.

Note: It is important to understand the limitations of a WinHelp topic. If your spreadsheet cells exceed the width of your Help window you should consider reducing the number of rows and columns in the Worksheet Object.
