Browse sequences created by RoboHelp HTML are stored in an ASCII file with a .BRS extension.
In the next exercise you open the BRS file in Notepad. For a tip on how to add Notepad to the right click menu on Windows Explorer, see the August 2000 tip.
Open Notepad by choosing Start Button: Programs: Accessories: Notepad.
Choose File: Open.
Under Files of type select All files and navigate to the sub1 project folder created two steps prior.
Select Sub1.BRS
and click Open.

Select all
the text.
The sequence name is enclosed in square brackets. The Destination topics
display the topic title and HTML file name.

Choose Edit: Copy.
Remaining in Notepad, choose File: Open and navigate to the Master project folder.
Switch the Files of type to All Files.
Open the Master.BRS file.
Skip a line below the Master 1 sequence and paste the Sub1
sequence into Notepad.

To merge the Browse Sequences, simply add the
name of the CHM file in front of the HTML files, as below using Sub1.CHM::/

Choose File: Save and close Notepad.
Return to RoboHelp HTML, Recompile
Master and test the browse
sequences.

The "Enhanced" browse sequences in RoboHelp HTML are a RoboHelp component (as opposed to a Microsoft component). Therefore you must distribute HHACTIVEX.DLL with your help file collection. Please refer to the RoboHelp HTML Help file for more details.
